Andrea Dossena, Liverpool FC and Italy footballer, was born on 11 September 1981 in Lodi, Italy. Andrea Dossena began his footballing career in 2001 as a youth player at Italian side Verona, he later progressed to the first team where he made 99 appearances and scored 3 goals. In 2005 Andrea Dossena was bought by Italian Serie A side Udinese who then loaned him out to Treviso for a year where he made 21 first team appearances before returning to Udinese for the 06/07 season. Andrea Dossena remained at Udinese for another 2 years scoring 2 goals in his 63 appearances. On 17 October 2007, during his time at Udinese, Andrea Dossena made his international debut in Italy's friendly against South Africa.
Andrea Dossena spent three years with Udinese before signing a four year deal with Liverpool FC on 04 July 2008, the signing of Andrea Dossena by the Premier League side was prompted by the departure of John Arne Riise for Roma. Andrea Dossena made his Liverpool FC debut on 16 August 2008 in a Premier League match away against Sunderland and scored his first goal for the team on 10 March 2009 in Liverpool FC's emphatic 4-0 Champions League defeat of Real Madrid. The first Premier League goal for Andrea Dossena came four days later in Liverpool FC's 4-1 victory over Manchester United. On Friday 08 January 2010 Andrea Dossena left Liverpool FC having agreed a four year deal with Italian Seria A side Napoli.
